Terms of Service

1. Agreement to these terms

These terms govern your use of sensesixcyber.com ("the site") and any service you purchase or engage from Sense Six Cyber Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") through it. By using the site, booking a discovery call, or purchasing a package, you agree to these terms. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.

2. What we offer

Sense Six Cyber offers two distinct kinds of engagement, and this section explains the difference because it matters for how payment and refunds work later on:

• Career coaching packages(the Single Session, LinkedIn & Resume, and Premium packages on our pricing page): fixed-price, self-serve 1-on-1 coaching sessions, purchased directly through the site and scheduled afterward.
• GRC and cybersecurity consulting services (third-party risk management, GRC program development, SOC 2 readiness, and the other engagements described under Services): custom-scoped work, quoted and agreed separately after a discovery call, not purchased through a fixed price on this site. These engagements are governed by their own separately signed agreement, which takes precedence over this document for anything it specifically addresses.

Sections 3-5 below (payment, scheduling, and refunds) describe the career coaching packages specifically. They don't apply to a custom consulting engagement unless that engagement's own agreement says otherwise.

3. Payment

Career coaching packages are paid in full, upfront, in USD, through Stripe at the time of purchase. We don't store your card details ourselves; Stripe processes and secures the transaction. Prices are those displayed on the pricing page at the time you buy and may change for future purchases without notice.

4. Scheduling

After payment, you'll be directed to book your session time on our scheduling calendar. Sessions are held over video call at the time you book. Need to reschedule? Contact us at least 24 hours before your session and we'll find a new time at no extra cost. Rescheduling with less than 24 hours' notice, or not showing up to a booked session, forfeits that session under Section 5 below, same as if it had been delivered.

5. Refunds & cancellations

This is the section Stripe links to directly as our refund and return policy. It only covers the self-serve career coaching packages sold on this site; a custom consulting engagement's refund terms, if any, are set out in that engagement's own agreement instead.

• Before your first session is scheduled:full refund, no questions asked. Email us and we'll process it back to your original payment method within 5 business days.
• After a session has been delivered:that session is non-refundable, it's already been provided. For multi-session packages (LinkedIn & Resume, Premium), any remaining sessions you haven't used yet are refunded on a pro-rated basis if you cancel partway through.
• Missed or late-cancelled sessions:a session forfeited under Section 4's rescheduling terms (no notice, or a no-show) counts as delivered and isn't refunded, same as a completed session.
• How to request a refund: email admin@sensesixcyber.com with your order details. We'll confirm eligibility and process any refund due within 5 business days back to your original payment method.

6. No guarantee of outcome

Our coaching improves how you present your experience, your LinkedIn profile, your resume, and your interview performance. It does not, and cannot, guarantee a job offer, an interview, or any specific hiring outcome, those depend on factors outside our control, including the job market, the specific role, and decisions made by employers we have no relationship with.

7. Your materials & confidentiality

Anything you share with us to do this work, your resume, work history, LinkedIn content, and anything discussed during a session, stays confidential and is used only to deliver the service you've purchased. You keep ownership of your own materials; we don't reuse your resume or profile content for any other purpose.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Sense Six Cyber's total liability for any claim arising from a career coaching package is limited to the amount you paid for that package. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost income or a missed job opportunity.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Sense Six Cyber Inc. is incorporated federally under the Canada Business Corporations Act, with its registered office in Ontario.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated to anyone with an active engagement.
